Orthopedic Physician / Surgeon Locations: Brooklyn & Manhattan, NY Employment Type: Full-Time/Days Compensation: $400,000 annual base salary + performance bonus Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Orthopedic Physician / Surgeon to diagnose, treat, and manage a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions. This role combines both surgical and non-surgical care and offers the opportunity to practice across multiple locations (Brooklyn & Manhattan), providing flexibility and exposure to a diverse patient population. The ideal candidate is clinically strong, patient-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced outpatient and surgical environment. Key Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat disorders and injuries of the musculoskeletal system Perform orthopedic surgical procedures, including elective and emergency cases Develop and implement individualized treatment and post-operative care plans Interpret diagnostic imaging and test results (X-rays, MRI, CT, labs) Provide non-surgical treatments such as injections, medication management, and therapy referrals Monitor patient recovery and modify treatment plans as needed Collaborate with physical therapists, nurses, anesthesiologists, and other specialists Educate patients and families on diagnoses, procedures, risks, and recovery expectations Adhere to clinical guidelines, safety standards, and ethical medical practices Qualifications & Requirements MD or DO from an accredited medical school Completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency program Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery Active or eligible medical license in New York Chinese-speaking strongly preferred (serving a primarily Chinese-speaking patient population) Preferred Skills & Experience Fellowship training or experience in subspecialties such as: Sports Medicine Joint Replacement Spine Trauma Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety Ability to work independently while contributing to a multidisciplinary team Compensation & Benefits $400,000 annual base salary + bonus structure H-1B visa sponsorship available for qualified candidates Flexible scheduling across Brooklyn and Manhattan locations Paid time off (PTO) Malpractice insurance coverage
