This role requires strong leadership, compliance oversight, and hands-on pharmacy operations experience. The ideal candidate has prior Pharmacy Manager or PIC experience and is comfortable overseeing daily workflow while ensuring regulatory compliance.Team Structure1 Pharmacist1-3 Pharmacy TechniciansKey ResponsibilitiesServe as Pharmacist in Charge, ensuring full compliance with South Dakota Board of Pharmacy regulationsVerify and accurately check prescriptions prior to dispensingOversee prescription processing to ensure accuracy, safety, and timelinessMaintain efficient pharmacy workflow and supervise support staffFill and dispense prescriptions as neededEnsure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulationsConduct and oversee monthly pharmacy auditsAdminister immunizations and Long-Acting Injectable (LAI) medicationsQualificationsActive and unrestricted South Dakota Pharmacist License (required)Previous Pharmacy Manager or PIC experience preferredStrong leadership and team management skillsExperience with regulatory compliance and pharmacy auditsImmunization certification preferred
