This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech) seeking a 13-week contract position in Traverse City, MI. The role involves utilizing advanced fluoroscopy equipment to assist in diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures. The IR Tech will work with C-arm machines to capture detailed images of human anatomy and provide technical support by scrubbing in alongside physicians during cases. Key Responsibilities: Operate fluoroscopy equipment, including C-arm, to obtain high-quality diagnostic and interventional images Collaborate closely with physicians by scrubbing in during procedures and assisting with technical needs Adhere to safety protocols and maintain equipment to ensure optimal functionality Participate in on-call rotations, responding within 30 minutes to hospital calls during weeknights, weekends, and holidays Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and equipment usage Qualifications and Experience: Current BLS certification required Valid ARRT (R) registration mandatory Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist Strong knowledge of imaging techniques and anatomy Ability to respond quickly and professionally during on-call hours Schedule: 5 shifts per week, Monday to Friday 8-hour day shifts On-call rotations during nights, weekends, and holidays with 30-minute response time Location Details: Traverse City, MI, is known for its breathtaking natural beauty, including stunning lakeshores and vibrant local culture.
