POSITION: ETBU Health Services - Clinic Director and Nurse Practitioner DESCRIPTION: East Texas Baptist University seeks a qualified individual for the position of Clinic Director for ETBU Health Services/ETBU Nurse Practitioner. This position is a 9-month (August - May; with selected dates in the summer), full-time position providing health care and health education to the students, faculty, and staff of ETBU. The successful candidate will have a passion for working closely with students in a student-centered work environment. ETBU seeks a Christian healthcare professional who is committed to the integration of faith into practice and is willing to invest in the university, local church, and regional community. The Clinic Director reports to the Vice-President of Academic Affairs and is responsible for the overall management, administration, and delivery of campus health services at ETBU. The position begins August 2026.QUALIFICATIONS: ETBU seeks Christian leaders who are committed to the integration of faith in learning and will invest in the university, local church, and regional community. Two years' experience in Primary Care setting or university health services preferred. Candidate must have demonstrated knowledge of medication administration and detection of common illnesses; current health, mental health, alcohol, and other drug and social issues on university campuses. OSHA Blood Borne Pathogen Standards, familiarity with Title IX; as well as knowledge, sensitivity, and ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds. Candidate must be able to handle all situations with diplomacy, confidentiality, and trust, as well as have excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills. EDUCATION: Graduated from an accredited college or university with a master's degree in Nursing, FNP, AANP or ANCC certification, BLS certification, current licensure (or eligible for licensure) in the state of Texas, and prescriptive privileges in Texas are required.
