An opportunity is available for a skilled CVOR Tech to support the Operating Room (OR) at a medical center located in West Winfield, NY. This travel position requires a professional who thrives in a dynamic surgical environment with a broad spectrum of case types and advanced technology. Responsibilities: Provide technical nursing support in the Cardiovascular Operating Room. Assist in multiple surgical specialties including general surgery, orthopedics, plastics, neurology, vascular, ENT, gynecology, urology, GI, pain management, cardiac, thoracic, vascular hybrid, and podiatry cases. Operate and maintain a variety of surgical equipment and devices across different vendor lines. Participate in on-call rotations averaging 4 to 5 shifts per month, demonstrating flexibility to manage a wide range of potential cases. Maintain proficiency in foundational OR skills to safely support diverse surgical case types. Support multiple service lines as needed, focusing on the Cardiovascular OR specialty. Not required to work in other departments unless prior experience exists. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Proven experience as a CVOR Tech or equivalent nursing role in an OR setting. Ability to work with a broad range of OR equipment and technology. Willingness to take on-call shifts as scheduled. Strong foundational knowledge of operating room procedures and safety protocols. Flexibility and adaptability to support various surgical specialties. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
