iCare Health Network - iCare Health Network is seeking a Regional Coordinator of Education and Infection Control for MassachusettsThe primary purpose of this position is to plan, organize, develop, and direct all regional, clinical in-service educational programs. This position will also provide professional development by coaching and supporting staff in acquiring the clinical knowledge and skills to competently provide the highest level of resident care.Tasks and DutiesDevelop, evaluate and deliver quality in-service educational programs in accordance with established policies and procedures. Coaches employees on proper nursing practices and procedures.Ensuring educational activities are current and in line with government regulations and the company’s mission and goals. Provides appropriate climate for learning, and facilitates the adult learning process.Assists learners to identify both their learning needs and the effective learning activities required to meet clinical needs. All other associated duties as assigned.EducationMust possess a degree in Nursing from an accredited school, or be a graduate of an approved RN program.ExperienceMust have, as a minimum, two (2) years experience in a Nursing Facility or Health Care setting. Must have experience in supervision and principles, and practice of teaching.Specific RequirementsMust have current and valid nursing license in Massachusetts.Demonstrated experience in training, teaching, or coaching employees.Agrees to maintain confidential information about employees and residents.Candidate must have experience with Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point, and the Internet. Must be able to work with all disciplines in a challenging multi-cultural environment.IND123
