Position Title: Sterile Processing Technician (Travel) Location: Portland, Oregon Shift: Night Shift | 5x8-hour shifts (11:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Schedule: Friday - Tuesday (Block Schedule) Hours: 40 hours per weekJob Description:"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is an experienced Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) for a travel assignment in a short-term acute care facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring proper decontamination, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments and equipment to support safe and efficient surgical operations.Responsibilities: Perform decontamination, cleaning, assembly, sterilization, and storage of surgical instruments and equipment Operate sterilization equipment including steam sterilizers, washers, and ultrasonic cleaners Inspect instruments for cleanliness, functionality, and defects Prepare and assemble surgical trays according to established standards Maintain accurate documentation and instrument tracking using hospital systems Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times Ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory standards Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure timely availability of sterile instrumentsQualifications: Minimum travel experience required as a Sterile Processing Technician Strong knowledge of sterile processing procedures and industry standards Experience with Sterile Processing Management (SPM) systems preferred Experience with robotic surgical instruments preferredFor more details contact athdavda@or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.About Navitas Healthcare, LLC certified WBENC and one of the fastest-growing healthcare staffing firms in the US providing Medical, Clinical and Non-Clinical services to numerous hospitals.
