The shift consists of four 10-hour days from 06:30 to 17:00. Minimum of one year of experience is required. Certifications include ARRT (R) and ACLS. The position involves the following skills: 3D imaging, accessing and managing ports, and accurate monitoring. Procedures may include adrenal angiography, angioplasty, carotid angiography, and catheter/drain exchange. Enhancements in this role include central venous access/port placement and maintenance of equipment and inventory. Experience with charting systems, preferably Epic, is advantageous. Familiarity with pediatric interventional radiology and trauma care is preferred. The role may require call responsibilities for one weekday and every fourth weekend. Types of patient diagnoses include stroke, abdominal aortic aneurysms, and other vascular conditions. The unit is equipped with advanced imaging technologies such as bi-plane and single-plane imaging systems. Candidates must be comfortable following safety protocols and maintaining a sterile field during procedures. These qualifications will ensure efficient and effective patient care within the interventional radiology department.
