American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist for a 13-week contract at an acute care hospital in Cape Canaveral, FL, requiring experience in both diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab settings.Job Details• Acute care hospital with 150 staffed beds, Level III Adult Trauma designation,• Cardiac Cath Lab unit performing diagnostic and interventional procedures,• Procedures include cardioversion, pacemaker insertion, tilt table studies, angioplasty, stent placement, dialysis graft interventions (fistulograms/declots), endovascular interventions, and upper/lower extremity angiography,• Charting via Sunrise (no prior experience required),• Day shifts, 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM,• Every other weekend required, or approximately 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period,• On-call may be required based on unit needs,• Floating to sister facilities may be required if needed,Job Requirements• Minimum 1 year of experience in both diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab settings,• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required,• Experience with PACS required,• Experience with Xper recording platform required,• Experience with cardioversion, pacemaker insertion, tilt table studies, angioplasty, stent placement, dialysis graft interventions, endovascular interventions, and upper/lower extremity angiography required,• Experience with specialized equipment (Impella, Balloon Pump, CSI, Shockwave, Penumbra) preferred,• Active Florida state or compact license required for consideration (pending licenses not accepted) - license required if applicable,• Flu vaccine required; signed medical or religious exemption accepted,• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration,• Full 7-year work history with all employment gaps explained required for consideration,Additional Information• First-time travelers are welcome to apply,• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers,• All requested time off must be finalized and submitted at the time of initial consideration; RTO will not be accepted after an offer is made,• Candidates who have previously held an internal contracted position at this facility must wait 1 year after departure before being eligible to return,• Any solid-colored scrubs required - tops and bottoms must match, no logos or prints; travelers are responsible for purchasing their own scrubs,• Free parking is provided with a decal issued at orientation,• Time keeping is managed via Kronos badge swipe system
