Job Description: This per diem position will be responsible for staffing the Baby Cafe and providing outreach telephone calls/folllowup for lactaction care at the health center from pregnant patients during business hours and directing them appropriately. In addition and provide lactation support to perinatal patients in real time.Educational Requirements: High School Diploma and Medical Assistant Certificate Preferred Experience Required: At least five years of experience working with community health center patients.Professional Licensure/Special Skills and Certification Required:Certified Lactation ConsultantBreastfeeding certification/training preferredBilingual in another language preferredReporting Relationship:This position will report to the Manager of Perinatal ServicesEOEThis is an onsite 10 hours per week position. Monday - Friday; 10am -12noon or 2 days between Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday; 5 hours each day.
