Job DescriptionRespiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT)Location: Unity Medical CenterSchedule: Full-Time Day Shift (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)Pay: $24.00 - $33.00 per hourAbout the RoleThe Staff Pad has partnered with Unity Medical Center to hire a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist. This role provides respiratory therapy treatments and diagnostic testing to patients in both acute and outpatient settings, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister respiratory therapies including oxygen, aerosol, high-humidity, and ventilator supportPerform arterial punctures and analyze arterial blood gases (ABGs)Conduct pulmonary function testing and EKGsAssist with chest physiotherapy and emergency respiratory interventions, including CPRSupport long-term ventilation management and critical care patientsDocument all treatments and patient responses accurately in medical recordsCollaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other departments to coordinate careAssist with stress testing procedures alongside Nuclear Medicine and Nursing teamsServe as a clinical resource for respiratory care best practicesMaintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standardsQualificationsCRT or RRT credential requiredActive state licensure (or eligibility) requiredBLS certification required; ACLS preferredExperience in acute care or hospital setting preferredStrong knowledge of respiratory therapy techniques and equipmentAbility to respond effectively in emergency and critical care situationsWhat We're Looking ForStrong clinical judgment and critical thinking skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environmentExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesCommitment to delivering high-quality patient careWhy Join Unity Medical Center?Competitive hourly pay with shift stabilitySupportive and collaborative clinical environmentOpportunity to work across a variety of patient care settingsGrowth opportunities within respiratory and critical care services
