This role is responsible for supporting and strengthening the execution of Thomas Cuisine services at the unit level through active presence, mentorship, and consistent operational support.As a boots-on-the-ground leader, the Associate District Manager partners closely with unit leadership teams to streamline operations, reinforce standards, develop talent, and enhance the resident and client experience. This position plays a critical role in building strong teams, driving consistency, ensuring regulatory compliance, and advancing Thomas Cuisine's REAL Food mission across senior living environments.What You'll DoServe as the primary district-level leader for assigned senior living communities, maintaining regular on-site presence and visibility.Support, mentor, and develop unit leaders and teams through coaching, hands-on guidance, and consistent follow-up.Reinforce Thomas Cuisine operating standards, with a strong focus on food quality, genuine service, sanitation, safety, and professional presentation.Conduct regular facility visits, operational reviews, and assessments to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.Partner with unit leaders to improve workflows, communication, and consistency across communities.Support hiring, onboarding, training, and ongoing development of leadership team members.Ensure compliance with ServSafe, HACCP, CMS, and applicable state and local regulations.Collaborate with the Regional Director of Operations to support district goals, performance metrics, and strategic initiatives.Strengthen relationships with clients, residents, and community stakeholders through proactive communication and service excellence.Assist with financial oversight by supporting budget adherence, cost controls, and operational efficiency at the unit level.Promote engagement, morale, and a positive team culture rooted in Thomas Cuisine values.Perform other duties as assigned.What You Will BringProven experience as a senior living food service operator with strong multi-site or leadership exposure.Excellent coordination, communication, and people leadership skills.Registered Dietitian (RD) credential desirable but not required.Demonstrated ability to mentor leaders and streamline operations in a hands-on environment.ServSafe Certification required.Strong understanding of senior living operations, regulatory requirements, and resident-centered service.Must be based in Texas, Dallas being the central hub for travel.Ability to travel regularly within the district.Passion for REAL Food principles, team development, and operational excellence.Ability to provide documents for work authorization.
