Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray Tech) - Avon Park, FL Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time Schedule: Monday-Thursday | 32-36 hours/week | No weekends or on-call Key Responsibilities • Operate and manage diagnostic imaging equipment, including X-ray, CT, DEXA scan, C-arm, and fluoroscopy in accordance with safety and compliance standards • Explain imaging procedures clearly to patients and address questions or concerns • Follow radiation safety protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff • Apply aseptic techniques and maintain sterile environments during procedures • Collaborate closely with physicians and clinical staff to support patient care plans • Accurately document and upload imaging results into the electronic medical record (EMR) • Monitor and maintain imaging equipment and ensure proper functioning • Contribute to a positive, team-oriented, and patient-friendly clinical environment • Stay current with advancements in imaging technology and best practices Requirements: • Certified Radiologic Technologist / Certified X-Ray Technician • Active and valid state licensure (if applicable) • Experience with DEXA scan, fluoroscopy, CT, PET scan, or C-arm • Prior experience in a clinical or medical office setting • New graduates welcome with fluoroscopy experience Benefits • Health, dental, and vision insurance • 401(k) retirement plan (eligible after 1 year) • Optional supplemental insurance plans • Paid time off • Supportive and team-oriented work environmentFor further information, you can contact todd.williams@ OR (469) 960-6244
