An opportunity is available for an Interim Pharmacist in Charge to oversee pharmacy operations at an inpatient behavioral health facility. This contract position, located in St Charles, MO, is expected to last approximately four weeks or until a permanent hire is made. The role requires immediate availability and provides a structured weekday schedule. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage pharmacy activities ensuring compliance with state regulations and facility policies Supervise medication dispensing processes and ensure accuracy in repackaging using Milt, Medi-dose, or HCL systems Operate and maintain automated drug machines, including loading medications and running restock reports Collaborate with clinical staff to support patient medication management in a behavioral health setting Maintain documentation and assist with audits as required Qualifications and Desired Experience: Active Missouri Pharmacist License Experience with Omnicell systems preferred Proficient in repackaging medications and handling automated dispensing equipment Familiarity with inpatient behavioral health pharmacy operations is advantageous Strong organizational and leadership skills to manage pharmacy workflow effectively Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 30-minute unpaid meal break daily This contract assignment offers a chance to make a significant impact in a specialized healthcare environment.
