A healthcare facility in St. Charles, MO, is seeking an Interim Pharmacist in Charge to support their inpatient behavioral health pharmacy operations. This short-term contract position is ideal for an experienced pharmacist licensed in Missouri who can quickly step into a leadership role and ensure seamless pharmacy services during the transition period. Location: St. Charles, MO Setting: Inpatient Behavioral Health Duration: Approximately 4 weeks, until permanent hire Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (30-minute unpaid meal break) Responsibilities: Oversee daily pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with regulatory standards Manage medication repackaging processes using Milt, Medi-dose, or HCL systems Utilize Omnicell automation for drug loading and restocking Run restock reports and maintain accurate inventory control Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient medication needs Qualifications and Desired Experience: Active Missouri Pharmacist License is required Experience with Omnicell automated medication systems strongly preferred Familiarity with medication repackaging using Milt, Medi-dose, or HCL systems is desirable Basic knowledge of loading medications into automated machines and generating restock reports Strong organizational and leadership skills within a behavioral health setting This opportunity offers a chance to make an immediate impact in a critical pharmacy role within a behavioral health environment.
