A retail pharmacy is seeking a Non-Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to support their Hiram, GA location. This full-time or part-time role offers a flexible schedule within their Monday through Saturday hours of operation, providing a great opportunity for Pharmacy Technicians with IV certification looking to expand their skills in a compounding setting. Location: Hiram, GA Setting: Retail Pharmacy Schedule: Monday - Friday: 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. Saturday: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Full-time (30-40 hours) or part-time options available Responsibilities: Customize non-sterile medications including creams, ointments, capsules, and suspensions under pharmacist supervision Follow USP guidelines meticulously during compounding processes Weigh and measure ingredients with precision Mix, package, label, and document compounded products accurately in master logs Maintain and clean compounding equipment adhering to strict cleaning protocols Comply with required PPE and safety standards Qualifications/Desired Experience: Valid Georgia Pharmacy Technician License Non-sterile compounding experience is required Minimum of one year of pharmacy technician experience Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures precisely This role is ideal for Pharmacy Technicians seeking hands-on compounding experience in a retail setting while working regular weekday and Saturday hours.
