Our client, a major O&G company, is looking for a HSE Advisor III to work on an initial 12-month contract, in a 14/14 rotation, in Fourchon, Louisiana.The HSE Advisor position is responsible for providing health and safety support for Production Operations and Facilities Engineering & Construction projects for Gulf of America (GOA) operating assets. The position reports to the HSE Manager for GOA Operations and Facilities Engineering & Construction (FEC) Safety. This position is located in Fourchon, Louisiana.Qualifications: 8+ years of relevant Health & Safety experience working in the Oil & Gas industryGood knowledge of Gulf of America regulatory requirementsHSE auditing and contractor safety management skillsExperience with HSE programs and tracking HSE performanceWorking knowledge of US safety regulationStrong organization skillsExperience with Microsoft applications including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, TeamsStrong communication skills and ability to interface with multiple teams across different disciplinesResponsibilities: Support the HSE LeadersManage scheduling for Offshore contractor HSE Advisors and assist with onboarding activitiesProvide HSE support for operations and projects such as incident reporting, investigations and case management, procedure interpretations and application, training for new initiativesDevelop, implement and review HSE procedures and programsConduct contractor audits and assessmentsProvide HSE expertise on FLHAs, PHAs, HAZOPs, MOCs, JHAs, JSAsTrending analysis for strengths and weaknesses within HSE practicesShut In Flyers & Safety Campaign DataNew Campaign Assessments/Hazard Hunts/Safety ActionsProvide support for HSE Training FairsEducation and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Health & Safety, Science, Engineering or other related field required.8+ years of relevant Health & Safety experience working in the Oil & Gas industry.
