A clinical opportunity is available for a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services at a medical facility in Ozark, AL. This travel assignment lasts approximately 13 weeks, with a start date as soon as possible. The typical shift runs from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with procedures generally beginning at 7:30 AM. Early arrival is necessary for isotope receipt, quality control processes, and conducting flood tests. Key Responsibilities: Administer a variety of nuclear isotopes for scanning and pathology detection. Operate and regulate nuclear medicine imaging equipment, including DualHead CorCam systems. Perform Cardiolite imaging, isolated MUGA scans, and Amyloid studies. Utilize Cedars Sinai software for imaging and data management. Print, develop, and organize diagnostic films in adherence to departmental protocols. Deliver timely services to both inpatient and outpatient populations under Radiologist direction. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) credential required. Current BLS certification. Minimum of one year of professional experience, including cardiac imaging expertise. Graduation from an accredited AMA program. Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT). Maintenance of a state license as a general radiographer or nuclear medicine technologist.
