The facility maintains 24-hour availability for anesthesia, laboratory, and radiology services, ensuring comprehensive patient care support for emergency and family medicine needs.Opportunity:Physician - Family Medicine, Emergency MedicineJob Details:• Work 24-hour shifts with 15-18 patient encounters per shift• Provide comprehensive family medicine services including well woman care and prenatal care• Handle vaginal deliveries and newborn care with resuscitation capabilities• Treat patients across all age groups from newborns to adolescents• Manage emergency medicine cases at a Level 4 trauma facility• Board certification required with ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS certifications• Must hold active Texas medical license or IMLC qualification• Credentialing timeframe approximately 60 days• Local lodging accommodations available in Mexia• Dallas is the nearest major airport for travel convenienceCompensation:Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
