We are seeking a Navigate Family Engagement Specialist responsible for providing Navigate services focusing on the family/support system of the individual experiencing early on-set psychosis, adhering to the Navigate model of care, as well as other supporting modalities of care. In conjunction with the Program Manager role, is responsible for directing and overseeing the delivery of clinical services provided by the Navigate team. The role functions as part of a Coordinated Specialty Care team that includes a Program Manager, Individual Resiliency Therapist, Family Engagement Specialist, Supported Employment and Education Specialist, prescriber, and Peer Supports. This position offers extensive training in the Navigate model as well as other evidence-based interventions. In addition, there is regular access to, and consultation with other Navigate sites in Michigan. This position is scheduled full-time, 40 hours a week, primarily Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. some evenings may be required. This assignment is in-person at 1131 Ionia Ave NW Grand Rapids, Michigan 49503 and within the community.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Master's degree in Social Work or Psychology, Counseling or Counseling Psychology Certification or Licensure in the State of Michigan as a licensed master social worker, professional counselor, or psychologist. Fully licensed MSW preferred2 years of experience providing direct services to individuals that have experienced psychosis preferredExperience with the 15-30-year-old population preferredMCBAP certification as a CAADC preferredKnowledge of crisis intervention and treatment methodologyTraining in and experience with providing Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy preferred Ability to perform work in community settings which may not be barrier-free.Possession of a valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation for job related use including transporting of clientsLived experiences with mental illness/developmental disabilities/substance use disorders valuedComputer skills, including use of Microsoft Office programsJob interviews are being conducted in person or via the internet.
