Job DescriptionA large chemical supply company is seeking a Lab Technician for a full-time opportunity. You will work Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.Responsibilities: Partially set-up and mix compounds to predetermined specifications Read and interpret specification sheets Set up and maintain production pace while setting up and weighing oils required to run each compound Document all material and compound traceability requirements Perform pre-shift set-ups Occasionally use lift truck and face masks Consistent heavy lifting, occasionally exceeding 50 pounds Keep work area clean and safe Job RequirementsRequirements: Must have previous Lab Technician experience with the ability to set-up and mix compounds Must have the ability to read and interpret specification sheets Must be able to document all material and compound traceability requirements Must be able to work in a fast-paced dirty, dusty, and noisy environment while standing all day Must have a solid work history with no attendance issues Must have steel toed boots; uniforms will be provided Must be able to perform consistent heavy lifting, exceeding 50 pounds Only those candidates that can pass a background check and drug screen will be considered.
