Utilize diagnostic tools and imaging to diagnose urological disorders. Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with urological conditions, including medical management and surgical interventions. Perform surgical procedures, including but not limited to prostatectomy, nephrectomy, and bladder reconstruction. Perform endoscopic procedures, such as cystoscopy and ureteroscopy, to diagnose and treat urinary tract conditions. The Urologist interprets procedure findings and provides timely reports to patients and referring physicians. Educate patients and their families about urological conditions, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications. Offer guidance on preventive measures and health maintenance. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including oncologists, radiologists, and nephrologists, to optimize patient care. Consult on complex cases and provide expert opinions. Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) of patient care. The Urologist prepares and submits reports and documentation as required. Urologist - REQUIREMENTS Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree. Must have board certification or eligibility through the American Board of Urology. A full, current, and unrestricted license in any state is honored. Must be certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), or equivalency.
