This opportunity calls for a seasoned Pharmacist-in-Charge to lead pharmacy operations supporting a behavioral health hospital. This closed-door integrated pharmacy focuses exclusively on dispensing behavioral health medications and operates under a model akin to long-term care pharmacies. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily pharmacy operations ensuring compliance with all regulations and quality standards Manage and supervise pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and technicians Utilize Enterprise RX software to maintain accurate prescription records and support workflow efficiency Facilitate the fulfillment of 350-400 prescriptions per day, primarily behavioral health medications Collaborate with the behavioral health hospital to align pharmacy services with patient care needs Maintain a closed-door pharmacy environment, focusing exclusively on pharmaceutical care without vaccine administration Qualifications and Desired Experience: Active Texas Pharmacist License, mandatory Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy management or Pharmacist-in-Charge experience At least 2 years of pharmacist experience in retail or similar settings Strong understanding of pharmacy operations within a behavioral health or long-term care model preferred Excellent leadership and communication skills Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM This role has become urgent due to a transition of the current Pharmacist-in-Charge, with a last day scheduled for early March.
