The successful candidate will be part of the regional neurology outpatient practice providing general neurology patient assessments and management. Neurology experience is preferred. A neurology orientation with our established neuroscience team in Greenville, NC, will be required prior to being the sole onsite provider at ECU Health Neurology in Ahoskie, NC.Highlights include:• Employment by ECU Health Physicians• Support from ECU Health Roanoke Chowan Hospital, a 114-bed community hospital offering full scope of services including General Surgery, OBGYN, Orthopedics, Primary Care, Oncology, Behavioral Health, Cardiology, Pain Management, Endocrinology, and Urology• Outpatient only with a Monday-Friday schedule• No call• Supervision by a neurologist who will provide care via telemedicine• Large referral network including over 185 ECU Health practices and 9 ECU Health owned hospitals• Support from an established clinical neuroscience team of 10 neurosurgeons, including dual-trained cerebrovascular specialists and 20 + neurologists including an interventional neurologist, 4 vascular neurologists, 4 neurointensivists and 13 subspecialty neurologists. The subspecialties include pediatric neurology, epilepsy, movement disorders, headache, neuromuscular, sleep medicine, intraoperative monitoring and neuro-oncology.
