Landmark Hospitality is looking for a great professional to fill our Maître D' position at The Albion Summit Hotel! Landmark Hospitality is a leader in the hospitality industry, that owns and operates unique and iconic venues such as the Liberty House, Stone House, the Ryland Inn, The Albion Summit, and Crave Events in New Jersey as well as Hotel Du Village, Anzu Social, and the Logan Inn in Pennsylvania. This diversified hospitality company that specializes in upscale restaurants, event spaces, and boutique hotels is growing and has exciting opportunities available for the right individuals. Responsibilities: Orchestrating the service during private dining functionsSupervising and directing all aspects of the service, catering procedures, organizing and setting up the dining roomOverseeing and hands-on managing private dinners and banquetsSupervising banquet service staff, as well as, food-runners, bus personsMeet with potential clients and provide venue informationPlan, design, and produce events while managing all project delivery elements within time limitsLiaise with clients to identify their needs and to ensure customer satisfactionConduct market research, gather information, and negotiate contracts prior to closing any dealsProvide feedback and periodic reports to managementProven event management experienceAn impressive portfolio of previously managed eventsExcellent time management and communication skillsSales skills and ability to build productive business relationshipsAbility to manage multiple projects independentlyMS Office proficiencyWilling to submit references from previous clientsExperience with catering software program Landmark Hospitality is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer Job Type: Per diem Weekly day range: Weekend and evening availability is required.
