Medical Assistant Full-Time # OBS-GYN of Rockland Rate: Starting at $22.00, negotiable with experience Highland Medical, a division#of Montefiore Nyack Hospital, recently certified as a #Great Place to Work,# has#an opportunity for a full-time Medical Assistant at OBS-GYN of Rockland. The Medical Assistant works within our clinical team to provide excellent patient care to our patients. The Medical Assistant is responsible for rooming the patients in preparation to see the Physician and performing Medical Assistant duties such as taking vitals and EKGs. The Medical Assistant will also update patient information in the electronic medical records system.# Essential Job Qualifications: Education: A High School diploma or equivalent required Experience: Work experience as a Clinical Medical Assistant preferred Certifications/Licenses:#BLS certification (AHA) required.#Current Medical Assistant certification preferred Other: Experience using an electronic medical records system; EPIC preferred.
