In this role, you will revolutionize healthcare by integrating holistic care practices into clinical settings. As an Integrative Therapist, you will be responsible for providing mind-body wellness services to patients, incorporating yoga therapy, meditation, essential oils, Reiki, and contemplative care.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct Integrative Therapy sessionsUtilize yoga therapy techniques and mindful movements, including in-chair or supine movements and restorative postures, to relax and energize the bodyFacilitate breath awareness and guided body-awareness meditation sessions to promote mindfulness and mental well-beingIncorporate therapeutic-grade essential oils into therapy sessions to enhance the therapeutic experienceProvide Reiki energy healing to promote balance and harmonyOffer contemplative care and compassionate support to patients and their familiesCollaborate with healthcare teams to tailor therapy sessions to meet the individual needs of patientsMaintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and communicate effectively with colleaguesParticipate in continuing education opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in holistic care practicesQualificationsRequired: Certificate in Reiki Level 1Certification as an Urban Zen Integrative Therapist (UZIT) is optionalProficiency in yoga therapy, meditation, essential oils, Reiki, and contemplative care practicesExperience leading self-guided or public classes for meditation or mindfulness practicesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsCompassionate and empathetic approach to patient careAbility to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare teamCommitment to ongoing professional development and personal growthExperience in the healthcare industry and geriatric care is a plusCompensation/BenefitsCompetitive compensation and benefit options are available based on qualifications
