An opportunity is available for a dedicated pharmacist to join a 100-bed community hospital located about 1 to 1.5 hours north of Oklahoma City. This role offers a contract-to-hire position with a strong preference for candidates seeking permanent employment. The hospital values stability and is looking for a pharmacist committed to long-term engagement, especially following recent staff changes. Schedule: 7 nights on, 7 nights off (night shift) Key Responsibilities: Perform order verification ensuring accuracy and compliance Supervise and support pharmacy technicians in daily operations Conduct pharmacokinetic monitoring and adjust therapies as needed Collaborate closely with physicians and nurses to provide clinical pharmacy consultations Utilize Meditech IT system for patient records and medication management Qualifications: Valid Oklahoma pharmacist license or eligibility to obtain one Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred, demonstrating familiarity with inpatient medication management and clinical duties Strong attention to detail and communication skills to effectively interact with healthcare teams This contract-to-hire role is designed to attract candidates ready to contribute to a stable and patient-centered environment.
