Job Description Radiology Technologist - Central Illinois Region Overview Join a patient focused community hospital in the Central Illinois region, providing high quality diagnostic imaging services across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings. Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with established protocols Operate imaging equipment safely and effectively Verify patient identity, explain procedures, and ensure comfort and safety Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to support accurate imaging and timely care Maintain equipment, exam rooms, and documentation to departmental standards Follow radiation safety guidelines and regulatory requirements Participate in call rotation as assigned Schedule Full time Varied shifts depending on department needs Call rotation may apply Qualifications Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program ARRT (R) certification required (or eligible) Illinois state license required (or willing to obtain) BLS required Strong patient care skills and ability to work independently Why Central Illinois Easy commute, low traffic region Affordable cost of living Supportive community hospital environment Consistent volume without big city burnout Sign on and Relocation bonuses may be available!
