Provider expected to work in both clinic and hospital settings. Start date is as soon as credentialed. Contract length has been approved through 3/31/27. Clinic hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Inpatient consultation and patient care guidance is required for support hospitals. Typically, there is no daily rounding on patients. Weekend and night call coverage are responsibilities. The call rotation is 1 week per month and includes both inpatient and phone calls. Frequency of calls ranges from 0-2 per day. Full-time coverage is needed, with a minimum acceptance of 3 days per week. Appointments are scheduled up to a year in advance. Workflow includes patient clinic visits during designated hours. Providers see an average of 15 patients per day. The typical breakdown for patient types includes 2 new patients and primarily treatment and follow-up patients. The patient population does not include pediatrics. Oncology cases include lung, breast, prostate, and colorectal cancers, with some blood cancer cases referred out. Chemotherapy administration is not provided inpatient. Infusion center services are available on site. Providers oversee urgent patient needs when other providers are not present in the office. Clinical duties may include coordination with radiation oncology and participation in tumor boards. Providers will work alongside one Nurse Practitioner and a virtual hematologist. The facility size includes a 274-bed hospital. All active licenses will be verified during the credentialing process.
