About the Practice: A dynamic and well-established anesthesia group in the Morgantown, West Virginia area is seeking a skilled and dedicated Anesthesiologist to join their team on a full-time basis. Opportunity: This is an excellent full-time opportunity for an Anesthesiologist to practice a broad spectrum of B&B cases, including OB, healthy pediatrics, orthopedics, vascular, GI, and outpatient surgery. The practice focuses on a stimulating case mix while specifically excluding cardiac and sick pediatric cases. Responsibilities: Provide and manage anesthesia for a variety of surgical and procedural cases as listed above, including OB, healthy pediatrics, orthopedics, vascular, GI, and outpatient surgery. Conduct thorough pre-operative patient evaluations and develop individualized anesthetic plans. Administer and monitor anesthesia safely and effectively, adapting techniques to diverse patient populations. Manage patients in the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU). Maintain accurate and complete patient records. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to all practice protocols. Collaborate effectively with surgeons, other anesthesiologists, and the broader healthcare team. Participate in call rotation (details provided upon inquiry), ensuring reasonable post-call relief. Qualifications: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology. Valid and unrestricted West Virginia medical license (or eligible for licensure). Strong clinical skills in general anesthesia, OB, healthy pediatrics, orthopedics, vascular, and GI cases.
