Job specificationCandidate requirementsJob specification Lead and manage the nursing staff within the Labor and Delivery unit, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation. Ensure compassionate, patient-centered, and high-quality care delivery within the unit. Manage day-to-day operations of the Labor and Delivery unit, including resource allocation, equipment maintenance, and inventory management. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards for maternal care services. Provide leadership and support during maternal emergencies. Candidate requirements A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required; a master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or a related field is preferred. Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience in maternal care, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role. Previous experience working in a high-volume Labor and Delivery (L&D) setting. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is required. Certification in Maternal Nursing (CMN) is preferred.
