We have a supportive and friendly work environment with an amazing team and great surgeons.Position Details:Job Type: PRN/Registry, (Monday to Thursday)Schedule: Be able to work at least 3 shifts in a monthWork Location: In-person at our Bloomington Eye InstituteBenefits:Paid Time Off (PTO) accrual Annual shoe allowanceEmployer provided training and developmentSurgical scrubs providedQualifications:Current Registered Professional Nurse license in the State of IllinoisMinimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse is preferredExperience in an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC), Operating Room (OR), Critical Care, or Recovery Room preferred, but not requiredExcellent oral and written communication skillsStrong decision-making, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilitiesAble to work independently & effectively in a team environment.Can work in a stressful environment while continuing to be friendly and welcoming to both customers and co-workers.BLS required; ACLS and/or PALS preferred but not requiredResponsibilities:Conduct patient interviews, perform pre-testing, and manage admissions and discharges with proper documentationCirculate in the procedure room and administer IV conscious sedation as neededTranscribe and implement physicians' orders accuratelyPerform IV punctures, dispense medications, and carry out venipuncturesMonitor and recognize patient rhythmsMaintain adherence to all policies and procedures, ensuring a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staffCommunicate effectively regarding patient care and personnel mattersPay: The starting range for this position is $33.00 - $38.31/hr. depending on skills, experience, and qualifications as well as market considerations
