This role involves working closely with the pharmacy manager and serving customers in a fast-paced pharmacy environment. Location: Endicott, NY Job Type: Contract to Hire Schedule: Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM Saturday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Sunday: 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM Responsibilities: Collaborate with the pharmacy manager to monitor and control inventory by tracking weekly sales and ordering pharmaceutical stock as needed to meet customer demand and enhance profitability. Prepare and dispense medications by weighing, measuring, mixing drugs, and filling prescriptions accurately. Provide advice to customers on self-medication and dispense non-prescription products as appropriate. Maintain open communication with healthcare providers and insurance professionals to ensure quality patient care. Administer patient immunizations regularly to support community health. In the absence of the Pharmacy Manager, assist with scheduling pharmacy associates, managing performance, and delegating tasks to maximize operational efficiency and meet business goals.
