This opportunity is for a skilled Pharmacist to provide essential support in a busy retail pharmacy setting. The role offers a chance to engage in both patient care and operational responsibilities while working closely with pharmacy management at an established location. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the pharmacy manager to control inventory by tracking weekly sales and ordering pharmaceutical stock to meet customer demand and optimize profitability. Accurately weigh, measure, and mix medications and compounds, filling prescriptions with precise compositions. Dispense non-prescription medications, advise self-medicating patients, and maintain open communication with health and insurance professionals. Administer patient immunizations as part of routine duties to support community health. When needed, assist in managing pharmacy associates by scheduling, recognizing performance, addressing discipline, and assigning tasks to leverage team skills effectively and align with company goals. Qualifications: Bachelor of Pharmacy or Pharm D degree. Active New York Pharmacist license is required. Current New York Immunization license is preferred. Ability to start immediately. Location: Binghamton, NY (Retail Pharmacy Setting). Schedule: Monday to Friday: 9 AM to 7 PM Saturday: 9 AM to 5 PM Sunday: 10 AM to 2 PM This role presents a contract-to-hire opportunity, ideal for pharmacists seeking to make an immediate impact with flexibility for future permanent placement.
