Endocrinology Opportunity - Albany, NY Quick Screening Snapshot Location: Albany, New York Position Type: Full-time (up to 2 openings) Schedule: Primarily outpatient with flexible scheduling Call: 1:10 rotation Additional inpatient call only when inpatient providers are off Start Date: Open / Negotiable Licensure & Credentialing Requirements Board Certification: Required OR truly Board Eligible (Endocrinology) Board Status: Must be current (no lapsed certification accepted) New York Medical License: Required or ability to obtain DEA: Required Candidate Requirements Experienced candidates preferred Open to 2025 graduates and recent grads working toward BC Open to H-1B visa candidates (J-1 waivers not accepted) No locum candidates Clinical Role Overview Primarily outpatient endocrinology practice Diagnose, treat, and manage: Diabetes Endocrine and metabolic disorders Provide long-term patient management and follow-up care Participate in limited inpatient coverage as needed Practice Highlights Multidisciplinary team including: Endocrinologists Advanced Practice Providers Certified Diabetes Educators Advanced diabetes care technology: Insulin pump and sensor downloads Continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) Comprehensive services: Complication screening and prevention Medication management Foot care Smoking cessation Onsite HbA1c testing Weight management and nutrition counseling Diabetes education and support programs Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary $35,000 sign-on bonus $15,000 retention bonus (2-year commitment) Relocation allowance (reimbursement-based, distance-dependent) Benefits include: Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid malpractice with tail coverage CME allowance: $4,500 5 weeks paid time off 403(b) retirement plan with employer match RecruitWell's Core Values: Open communication Sense of urgency Teamwork Accountability Driven to win Higher consciousness
