Our part-time home and community Behavior Technician positions are designed for individuals who want to contribute meaningful work while maintaining balance with other priorities. We practice within an assent-based, child-centered ABA model and provide the training, mentorship, and clinical oversight needed to succeed-without requiring a fixed or full-time schedule. You'll support skill development and behavior goals while working a schedule that fits your lifestyle. This role is ideal for individuals balancing school, caregiving responsibilities, or other professional commitments. What You'll Do * Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy sessions under BCBA supervision * Implement treatment plans in home and community settings * Use play-based and individualized strategies to engage children * Collect accurate session data and progress notes * Communicate with families and clinical supervisors * Apply feedback and coaching to strengthen clinical skills How Success Is Measured Success in this role is defined by: * Reliable attendance within your committed availability * Compassionate engagement with children and families * Accurate data collection and documentation * Professional communication and follow-through * Openness to feedback and learning Pay Range * Hourly Rate: $19.00 - $25/hour (based on education and experience) Additional factors that may increase starting pay include: * Prior experience in ABA or behavioral health * Higher education or relevant coursework * Fluency in additional languages * Advanced certifications or specialized training ____________________________________________________________________________________ Qualifications & Essential Job Functions * Minimum age of 18 * High School diploma or GED required * Ability to actively engage in child-centered play and therapeutic activities * Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including: * Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs * Bending, kneeling, squatting, and transitioning between activities and locations * Responding appropriately to challenging behaviors, including aggression or elopement * Reliable transportation and ability to travel consistently within your assigned service region * Valid driver's license and punctual attendance * No prior ABA experience required - we train you Experience That Transfers Well * College students in psychology, education, social work, or related fields * Childcare or education roles (nanny, tutor, paraprofessional) * Mental health or human services experience * Camp counselor, volunteer, or youth program experience ____________________________________________________________________________________ Why CAS Is Different We intentionally design part-time roles that: * Respect flexibility without sacrificing clinical quality * Provide real training and meaningful support * Value consistency and professionalism * Support sustainable, long-term engagement ____________________________________________________________________________________ Not Ready to Make the Jump - but Know Someone Who Is?
