Minimum Experience/Accountabilities • Minimum 6 years' relevant experience including dashboards /BI reporting design, documentation, maintenance, implementation, upgrades, and troubleshooting. If no bachelor's degree, must have 10+ years of experience. • Must have experience with Structured Query Language (MS SQL Server, Oracle) • Healthcare experience preferred. • HealthEquity experience required. *****Working experience with HealthEquity: Building visualizations and KPI's for Patient satisfaction, Readmission rates, Treatment success, Health outcomes, Compliance rates with safety protocols, Wait times. • Understanding of the Healthcare protocols. • KPI's and visualizations. *** Experience using HealthEquity software/services • 2 years' experience QlikView and QlikSense preferred. • Must have other BI tools experience, such as Tableau, PowerBI, etc. • Must be able to demonstrate experience with database systems and experience with system design, capacity planning, and capacity management. • Requires hands-on expertise with database services. • Familiarity and experience with data modeling and query logic leveraging MS-SQL or other programming logic. • Effective communicator to both clinical and technical audiences, using appropriate language, terminology, and formats, including but not limited to being able to present and explain data analysis results, findings, and recommendations in a way that is relevant, accurate, and actionable. • Competence with healthcare data sets (clinical, administrative, financial, operational etc) and concepts including standards (ICD, CPT, HCPCS, LOINC, SNOWMED) • Ability to extract, integrate, and analyze data from AllScripts SCM, Infinity databases. • Experience leveraging Oracle Health Cerner HealthAnalytics/Population Health platforms. to access, analyze, and report on healthcare data from various sources, such as electronic health records, claims, registries, surveys. Job Accountabilities: • Dashboard: SDLC methodology to develop, test and deploy enterprise dashboards promptly. • Data Visualization Design: Apply sound user experience design to incorporate visualization in dashboards and reports. • Training: Trains new staff members on applicable systems/applications. Responsible for working with customer and/or vendors with training on new systems being implemented and rolled out for use in the departments. • Priority Management: Must work several assignments at one time, manage priorities, deadlines, and time. The work is highly technical, requires collaboration across multiple disciplines and groups. The ability to work independently is also required. • Customer Service: Addresses customer questions, concerns, enhancement requests, communicates with customers, handles services problems and tickets politely and efficiently, always available for customers, follows procedures, utilizes problem solving skills, maintains pleasant and professional image. Customers may include both internal department users, vendors, and peers within IS. • Reporting: Generate ad-hoc as well as routine reports and data dump for further consumption. • Business Intelligence: Transform disparate data into meaningful analysis. Provide information that can be used for decision making. Predict outcomes and prescribe appropriate actions. • Documentation: Prepare documentation related to dashboards and reports (e.g., FRD). Draft a mock-up data visualization before start building dashboard. • Other Duties and On-Call: Ability to fulfill On-Call requirements and other duties as assigned. Additional REQUIRED qualifications: • Extensive experience with data modeling. • Must have Tableau proficiency (experience with other BI and visualization tools a plus). • Deep knowledge of joins and visualizations. • SQL programming skills and clinical knowledge to formulate the models for the complex metrics required for this role. • Ability to present developed analytics and show health equity knowledge. USC will be responsible for working with the candidate to complete all onboarding background requirements listed below if a Direct Hire offer is extended.
