SUMMARY: This job assumes responsibility for and manages and coordinates all aspects of the clinical trials according to regulatory and institutional guidelines and requirements in collaboration with the physician offices. Coordinates and conducts the implementation of all research trials to comply with Federal and institutional requirementsJOB DUTIES:Manages research activities associated with clinical trials and data managementEnsures compliance with regulatory guidelinesManages data and leads special projectsSeeks opportunities for individual and departmental continuing educationPromotes teamwork and supports departmental, divisions, and corporate goalsWORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED5 years of experience in managing and conducting clinical trials.Preferred - Broad basic knowledge of department-specific clinical trials in order to provide safe protocol management, teach staff, interpret data, and interact with other health care professionals.KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIESMust have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of patient information.
