Oversee and lead pharmacy operations as the Infusion Pharmacy Manager in a role designed for direct hire, beginning immediately. This position is based in Westerville, OH, offering a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with some schedule flexibility and participation in administrative on-call duties. As Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for managing pharmacy staff with a strong emphasis on training and orientation. Experience in an infusion setting is highly preferred, though specialty pharmacy experience will also be considered. Your leadership will ensure the delivery of high-quality pharmacy services and medical supplies, adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: Direct pharmacy operations ensuring effective and compliant services. Uphold standards set forth by USP 797, USP 800, and State Board of Pharmacy regulations. Oversee compounding, dispensing, and clinical monitoring services. Ensure pharmacy operations meet licensing and regulatory standards. Assess patient, drug, and disease information to address drug-related needs and revise care plans. Manage preparation and accuracy of compounded formulations, supervising Clinical Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, and Interns. Oversee controlled substances' preparation, distribution, and security. Liaise with physicians and referral sources as needed. Serve as a drug information resource and support the sales team. Participate in pharmacist on-call schedules and coverage. Complete all managerial duties including hiring, training, performance management, and strategic planning. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or R.Ph. with clinical experience. Applicable active state licensure; additional licensure may be required. Minimum 7 years of pharmacist experience, preferably with direct compounding. Postgraduate training. Prior management experience with pharmacy staff. Specialty pharmacy or home infusion experience preferred. Familiarity with CPR+/CareTend systems is a plus.
