This is a vital role that will help facilitate and support Life Enrichment programs for our residents. There are two schedules for this role: Mondays 9:30am-4pm Tuesdays 11am-3pm or 4pm-8pm Fridays 10am-2pm Saturdays or Sundays Variable Another weekday 0-8 HRS based on Program Need OR Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 8:30am-12:30pm Tuesdays and Thursdays 12:30pm-4:30pm What you'll do: * Facilitate scheduled life enrichment programs and related activities in team and individual settings * Works in coordination with the Department Team Leads to communicate day‑to‑day operational issues related to program execution, space readiness, transportation flow, equipment concerns, and resident participation needs, following established departmental procedures * Provides accurate and timely attendance information, participation notes, and program‑day updates to the Administrative Team Lead to support roster management, registrations, and departmental record * Communicates observations related to program quality, engagement trends, resident experience, or emerging risk considerations to the Life Enrichment Manager to support ongoing program evaluation and refinement * Operates Givens vehicles to transport residents based on assigned duties to support programs and activities both on and off campus, subject to weather and safety conditions * Follows established documentation procedures when delivering Life Enrichment programs in Health Services settings, in accordance with departmental policies and direction * Perform any other duties and/or tasks that may be assigned on an as-needed basis by an authorized supervisor What you'll need: * Bachelor's degree required in recreation or leisure‑based fields (including recreation management, therapeutic recreation, leisure studies, parks and recreation), or related disciplines such as exercise sciences, fine and performing arts, gerontology or aging studies, or other social sciences or closely related fields. * Prior experience facilitating, delivering, or supporting recreational, wellness, creative, or activity‑based programming for older adults or similar populations required * Experience working in a community, senior living, healthcare, or service‑oriented environment preferred * CPR and First Aid certification preferred or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe, as required by assigned duties * Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record required; commercial driver's license (CDL) with passenger endorsement, or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe, may be required based on assigned transportation duties * Relevant professional certifications related to wellness, fitness, dementia care, or creative or therapeutic programming preferred, based on role designation and assigned responsibilities Compensation is $23.00 - $25.00 per hour based on experience, plus our comprehensive benefits package!
