By joining our network, you position yourself for opportunities aligned with your career goals.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure compliance with all federal, state, and local EHS regulations and company policies.Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments across manufacturing facilities.Develop, deliver, and track EHS training programs for employees at all levels.Investigate all incidents, accidents, and near-misses, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.Manage and update EHS programs, including Lockout/Tagout, confined space entry, and chemical safety.Maintain accurate EHS documentation, prepare regulatory reports, and analyze safety performance data.Support emergency response planning and drills, ensuring preparedness for critical incidents.Recommended QualificationsBachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.Minimum of 3 years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.Comprehensive knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant federal, state, and local EHS regulations.Demonstrated ability to conduct hazard assessments, risk analysis, and incident investigations.Proven experience in developing, implementing, and delivering EHS training programs.Bonus QualificationsCertified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) certification.Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.Proficiency with EHS management software platforms (e.g., Intelex, Cority, Sphera).Experience managing EHS programs across multiple manufacturing sites.OSHA Outreach Trainer certification (General Industry or Construction).Job Titles That Should ApplyEnvironmental Health & Safety Specialist, EHS Specialist, HSE Specialist, Health and Safety Specialist, Safety Specialist, Occupational Health and Safety Specialist, Environmental Compliance Specialist, Safety Officer, Workplace Safety Specialist, EHS CoordinatorWhy Pivot GroupThe Pivot Group was founded by manufacturing professionals who've been on both sides of the hiring process.
