This role supports a high-volume acute care Med Surg unit serving medical, surgical, and orthopedic patient populations in a fast-paced hospital environment.The RN will provide comprehensive bedside nursing care, manage diverse patient conditions, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality care in an acute care setting.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct medical-surgical nursing care.Administer medications and treatments per provider orders.Manage heparin drips (only titratable drip used on unit).Monitor telemetry and patient status.Collaborate with respiratory therapy (RT available 24/7).Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.Float to PCU or Burn units as needed.Support patient safety and quality care standards.QualificationsActive Nebraska RN license (required at submission).Required Certification:BLSRecent Med Surg experience required.Strong assessment and clinical judgment skills.Ability to manage high patient volumes.Strong teamwork and communication skills.BenefitsWeekly pay with competitive ratesHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) retirement plan with company matchReferral bonuses for referring talented professionals into our networkFlexible schedules and dedicated recruiter supportAbout ATC HealthcareATC Healthcare has been a leader in healthcare staffing for nearly 40 years, offering personalized placement and support to healthcare professionals nationwide.
