Medical Technologist – Chemistry Linden, NJ Shifts available:  Tuesday to Saturday 11 pm to 7:30 am Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Medical Technologist in Chemistry to join our laboratory team in Linden, NJ. This position supports high-quality diagnostic testing in a clinical laboratory or hospital setting and plays a key role in ensuring accurate and timely chemistry results during the night shift. Responsibilities Perform routine and high-complexity chemistry testing in accordance with laboratory policies and procedures Operate, calibrate, and maintain chemistry analyzers and related laboratory equipment Review, validate, and release test results while ensuring accuracy and compliance Perform quality control, troubleshooting, and corrective actions as needed Follow CLIA, CAP, and laboratory SOPs to maintain regulatory compliance Document testing, QC, and maintenance activities accurately Communicate effectively with laboratory staff and supervisors regarding workflow and testing issues Requirements Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related scientific field ASCP certification (MT/MLS) required Experience in a clinical laboratory or hospital chemistry department Strong knowledge of chemistry testing principles, quality control, and instrumentation Ability to work independently during the night shift
