This opportunity is ideal for a skilled Imaging Technologist with expertise in cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures. In this role, you will support critical cardiac catheterization interventions by preparing the lab environment, operating advanced imaging and hemodynamic equipment, and ensuring exceptional patient safety and aseptic technique throughout each procedure. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain catheterization lab readiness including equipment checks, supplies, and room configuration. Operate imaging systems such as fluoroscopy, intravascular ultrasound (IVUS), and intracardiac echo (ICE) during procedures. Accurately document patient information and hemodynamic data, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and lab coordinators to optimize workflow and patient care. Serve as the radiation safety representative during X-ray use, implementing all safety protocols. Adhere to infection control, patient privacy, and communication policies before, during, and after procedures. Maintain certification requirements and participate in ongoing competency development. Qualifications and Experience: Graduate of an accredited radiology technology program or equivalent healthcare-related education; bachelor's degree preferred. Electrophysiology (EP) experience is a must. 0-1 year acute care experience preferred. Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications (AHA only). Preferred certifications include RCIS, RCES, RCS by CCI or ARRT and ARDMS certifications relevant to modality. State licensure in Texas (MRT or LMRT) required.
