An opportunity is available for an experienced Director of Pharmacy to provide leadership and pharmacy management services at a community hospital serving inpatient care. This contract role is based in Logan, Ohio, and will begin on March 16, 2026, continuing until a permanent Director of Pharmacy is secured. Responsibilities: Manage daily pharmacy operations including staffing, scheduling, and participation in meetings. Oversee narcotics ordering and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements. Provide pharmacist in charge (PIC) duties ensuring operational excellence. Participate in sterile compounding and inpatient pharmacy services. Serve on-call coverage with an anticipated 1-2 calls per week, including rotation for weekend coverage every fourth weekend. Support specialty service lines including Emergency Department, Infusion, and Orthopedics. Utilize pharmacy systems including EPIC order entry and Pyxis automation with training provided as needed. Qualifications & Experience: Active Ohio Pharmacist license required. Proven inpatient pharmacy experience with familiarity in intravenous (IV) medications and 340B program management. Ability to lead pharmacy staff and coordinate resources effectively. Experience or willingness to learn EPIC software preferred. Background working in hospital pharmacy environments with sterile compounding capabilities. Schedule: Monday to Friday: 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM Saturday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM On-call coverage evenings and weekends as specified This role offers structured onboarding with comprehensive training modules and hands-on education to support successful integration.
