Perform advanced imaging procedures in Interventional Radiology, covering both vascular and neuro cases, at a leading medical center in Fairmont, WV. This contract role requires proficiency with state-of-the-art Canon, Siemens, and GE equipment, supporting approximately 20-30 procedures daily with a focus on cerebral, coiling, kyphoplasty, spine work, stroke therapy, and carotid stenting. Schedule/Hours: Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Call rotation: 1-2 shifts per week plus every 3rd or 4th weekend Possible holiday call 30-minute call back time Key Responsibilities: Monitor and interpret hemodynamic data during procedures Maintain strict sterile technique and prepare procedural entry sites appropriately Continuously monitor patient ECG and blood pressure; provide timely reports to physicians Document all procedures accurately and assist with inventory management and billing Participate in emergency code team activities under physician supervision Assist in clinical education for radiography students Maintain specialized knowledge in neuroradiology and vascular IR Participate in on-call rotation and remain available for emergent cases 24/7 Engage in ongoing education and quality improvement initiatives Qualifications and Desired Experience: Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT®) certification required BLS certification required; ACLS preferred Experience in Interventional Radiology with vascular and neuro cases Ability to work in a fast-paced environment performing 20-30 cases daily Must have a driver's license with an address beyond a 50-mile radius from the facility Previous permanent staff must have been off for 2 years; previous travelers must have been away for 2 years Location Overview: Fairmont, WV, offers a welcoming community with a balance of small-town charm and access to modern amenities.
