Registered Respiratory Therapist - Contract Opportunity Location: Brimley, MI This role requires a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist to deliver comprehensive respiratory care services. You will independently or collaboratively administer medications, perform therapeutic modalities and diagnostic testing related to the cardio-pulmonary system, and respond promptly to emergency situations including CPR and life support interventions. Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts weekly with a 36-hour guarantee 4-week repeating schedule Every Monday and Tuesday: 5:30 am - 6:00 pm (12-hour days) Two Wednesdays per month: 5:30 pm - 6:00 am (12-hour night shifts) One weekend shift per 4-week cycle (Saturday or Sunday): 5:30 am - 6:00 pm (12-hour day) Alternative schedule if needed: Monday and Tuesday: 5:30 am - 6:00 pm (12-hour days) Every Wednesday: 5:30 pm - 6:00 am (12-hour night shift) Key Responsibilities: Perform respiratory care evaluations and treatments following protocol. Administer medications using aerosol and metered dose inhalers. Respond immediately to Rapid Response, code or STAT calls, maintain artificial airways, provide respiratory and cardiac compressions as needed. Set up and maintain oxygen therapy equipment according to established protocols. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required. Proven ability to manage respiratory emergencies and provide critical care support. Knowledge of cardio-pulmonary diagnostics and therapeutic modalities. Ability to work flexible shifts and respond effectively in urgent situations.
