This opportunity offers a rewarding role performing nuclear medicine imaging with a focus on cardiac and general studies across two outpatient locations. The position involves working Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, split between an outpatient cardiology office and the main campus, providing essential diagnostic services to patients in the region. Location Based in Sanford, ME, this role also requires travel to a nearby site in Portsmouth, NH, providing variety and exposure to diverse clinical settings. Key Responsibilities Perform a range of nuclear medicine studies including general and cardiac imaging (nuclear stress testing) Administer IVs safely and accurately Handle and store radioactive materials in compliance with safety protocols Maintain accreditation standards set by the American College of Radiography Nuclear Medicine program Uphold the State of Maine Radioactive Materials license requirements Ensure meticulous documentation and reporting of procedures Collaborate effectively with Cardiologists and Radiologists to guarantee quality and diagnostic accuracy Deliver exceptional patient care with clear communication and professionalism Qualifications and Experience Minimum of 1 year nuclear medicine experience preferred Current BLS certification required Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) licensure mandatory Additional Information Strict adherence to timecard submission guidelines is required for payment processing This is a contract position with an immediate start date This role is ideal for highly skilled nuclear medicine technologists seeking a dynamic, dual-site environment with a focus on cardiac imaging.
