Jackson HealthPros is thrilled to welcome an experienced MRI Technologist to our team to accurately interpret a physician's scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and expertly operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images.Minimum Requirements:Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification (MR and R preferred).California Radiologic Technologist license required.Certified MRI Technologist - ARRT (MR) required.Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R) required.Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association required.Minimum 2 years' experience as an MRI Technologist preferred.Experience using GE short-bore MRI systems and related software preferred.Experience with Cerner charting system preferred.Ability to provide supervisor references as required: two supervisor references at submission (one within 12 months and one within 3 years) as requested by client.Candidates must not have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by facilities associated with CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity within the past year; PRN employment through outside firms will be considered.Preferred certifications: ARRT (CT), Fluoro permit.Assignment DetailsFacility type: Hospital.Unit: MRI.Shift name: Days.Scheduled shift: 12-hour day shifts on Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Start time 07:00 and end time 19:30.Call requirement: Required. Eight call shifts per month covering 19:00-07:00 with a 30-minute response time when placed on call.Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week.Orientation: 12 hours.Equipment used: GE short-bore MRI system (software 24x).Charting system: Cerner.Location HighlightsSacramento offers access to both urban amenities and nearby natural recreation.
